Why a silent art auction?
The purpose of this art auction is to raise funds to purchase new technology for the art department. As an art teacher I would love to be able to increase student access to, and knowledge of how technology is used in the arts. Funds from the purchase of each art auction item will be used to purchase iPads and supplies to supplement digital photography equipment already in use by students. It is my hope that these enhancements to FBE's art curriculum will also help build a foundation for students to eventually enter a world (of art) that is becoming increasingly technology oriented. On this blog you will find works of art created by each classroom that will be up for auction on the evening of FBE's Art Night. Come back and check often for updates. Thank you in advance for your support and I look forward to seeing you on March 7th! ~Mrs. Low, Art Teacher

Mrs. Furman's Class
This bright and exciting abstract painting is painted with acrylics on canvas. Students in Mrs. Furman's class took turns to help in the creation of all aspects of this painting. Whether it's the eye-catching composition, the friendly colors of the paint, the polka dot and stripe details, or the careful touch-up....it all looks awesome! Size: 12x16
